The Pitch.

 

The Pitch is a popular segment on ABC’s Gruen, designed to showcase Australia’s leading advertising minds at their best. Two agencies compete to come up with the best commercial in answer to an impossible brief. Both commercials are revealed on the show and the winner is decided by a panel of esteemed judges.

The brief was challenging but simple: Convince Australians that we should pave the Great Barrier Reef.

The solution was driven by insights. The reef may not actually be around for that much longer. It provides inconsistent experiences to its visitors and can often be quite unsafe. The future of tourism lies with Gens Y & Z.
